St. John Parish Schools

The Literacy Clinic operates in St. John the Baptist Parish at three concurrent levels: at the court-level, with enrollment of adults assigned to diversion or pleading to probation; at the school-level, as a direct educational service for students in grades K-2; and at the court-school level, by matching juvenile justice-involved youth with literacy support.   Partners include the 40th Judicial District Court, Garyville Mt. Airy Magnet School, River Parish Community College, and the Louisiana Department of Safety & Corrections.
